Hello! My name is Lynn and I am currently living and working on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish peoples–Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh), and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations. I am currently working as a contract and freelance Instructional Designer. 
I have a Master of Education (M.Ed) in Curriculum and Pedagogy focusing on Digital Technology at the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) in Business at the University of Victoria. I also have my TEFL certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. I am a huge advocate for lifelong learning and developing new skills. I recently started my associate certificate in UI/UX at BCIT and Learning Design Certificate at the University of Toronto Continuing Studies. 
I am specialized in curriculum development and instructional design for online learning and blended learning in higher education. My main skills are in instructional design, media design, technical support and training, and lastly, reviewing, producing, and editing online course content. My graduate research is focused on theoretical knowledge and pedagogical approaches in educational technology.
Throughout my career, I have led cross-functional learning initiatives and designed new programs customized for various audiences and geographies. I am experienced in regularly updating and enhancing training content and learning assets to reflect product changes, updates to learning paths, and new releases. I am enthusiastic about researching and implementing new technologies or processes to evolve learning programs and drive better learner engagement and success.​​​​​​​
My other passions are hiking, snowboarding, traveling, and photography.
